Calvanist Methodist – 1823 – Built on corner aite at 9 Bethal Place – First pastor 1866 Rev. Josiah Williams – 1974 Site redeveloped by Council – 1975 New Bethal Chapel built at Maes y Dderwen on Merthyr Road – 1996 Congregation combined with Nebo Chaper – 2007 Moved to Zion Chapel in Foundary Rd where services continue.
Welsh Congregational – 1823 Built first Chapel at High Street, Hirwaun – First pastor Rev.Joseph Harrison – 1851 Larger chapel constructed on same site – 2008 Congregation moved to Zion Chapel, Foundary Rd. -2026 Original building extensively modernised and converted to accommodation

William Lewis – 1837 Chapel rebuilt – 1867 Chapel rebuilt for second time – 1986 Chapel closed for Worship and sold to the Pentecostal Mission – 1994 Refurbished building reopened as Ramoth Christian Centre – 2026 Continues in use.
